The 3rd annual Pews (wave hand and make face) Award Ceremony was yet another outstanding success, yet not one feat of running was acknowledged, except perhaps the unselfish act of pacing. Pews (more waving of hand and grimaced expression) are giving to recognize contributions of other things, such as writing about running or being a key player in some memorable event during the year. Each award is unique and therefore highly coveted. When the awards committee say Pew (and wave they hands in front of their face) you know you’ve done something special! Thank you Iggy, Oddjob, Allstate and Forrest for hosting the fun and congratulations to Suds, recipient of the Doctor Von Award.
I would like to thank the committee for a wonderful evening at the Pews (wave hand and make face). Already looking forward to 2010!!

As stated in “The Pews”, I summerize greatly by saying this about that evening, “Woo Hoo!!!!” I have but a simple request from the committee; Please post the TOP TEN reasons for the formation of the “foot star”.
I have a poor memory and I wanted to recite the very awesome list to friends and family.

I wanted to especially thank the Pew Committee for a wonderful evening and award ceremony. I am very proud for receiving the Doctor Von Award. I have to admitt I was surprised and speachless. I had no acceptance speach prepared. I didn’t even know I was a nominee. Other than saying this year of reporting runs and races has been fun. It has all been an awesome adventure. I also thank the Bimbler community for all their support and motivation to keep me moving forward down the running path! Suds
