On race day the course is always well marked with orange wire flags and colored tape. Pay attention and follow the markers not the person in front (they may be lost too!), if you no longer see markers double back until you find them. You shouldn’t get lost, but at least one person will because they forgot to pay attention- just make sure it isn’t you!

“That’s a lot of twists and turns, will I get lost on race day?”
NOTE: A minor change has been made for the 2024 course. Between check points7 and 9 note the turn to the left on ORANGE followed by a steep descent. The trail then sweeps to the right past the Indian Cave before rejoining the RED RECTANGLE. This change is necessary due to trails changes made by the Land Trust.
Following the course markers on race day will be easier than carrying a map and trying to follow it.
