Sleepy Hollow Mountain race report. 5/13/12

I made a special trip to visit family in Burlington, Vt. on Mother’s Day week end and there just so happened to be a trail run nearby. This race is the first of six races of the USATF NE- Mountain Goat Series. A Leatherman’s Loop Race Report

Mostly Cloudy and Cool around 50.
This is a special day in trail running where about 1200 runners will run The Loop around Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, New York. This is the largest trail running event around. I have run this coarse two times before in 2009 and 2010. I was very excited this year to be able to participate.

Push Me,Pull Me – A Bimbler’s Bash Race Report

The Bash is one of my favorite trail races. It was here in 2007 that I officially joined the running community and made a lifetime commitment to use trail running as my ultimate form of exercise and connection with nature and friends. Cockaponset / Chatfield Hollow Hills

This Wednesday evening “Hump Day” 5:30 p.m. and/or 6:00 p.m. options. The 5:30 start will go out and back on Buck Rd. (old fire tower road). For about 3 miles and return to meet any 6:00 attendees. Back out on Buck Rd. to run up and down Beckwith Hills for a few repeats. Some single track and some dirt roads. Rain or Shine. Meet at the parking area at Chatfield Hollow on rte.80. Suds
